The former work studio, a part of the railway station has been renovated into a vacation apartment for a 5 people. The whole was tastefully decorated as a loft with a floor area of approximately 80 m2 and dressed with various authentic decorations that refer to the railroad past of the building. the station wishes to offer its guests a comfortable and characterful stay. On the ground floor there is an equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils (bbq), an induction stove, a combination oven, a refrigerator with freezer and a dishwasher. On the intermediate level is a cozy sitting area with TV. Below this intermediate level is the checkroom and a spacious storage room (washing machine and dryer). Upstairs is the sleeping area with a large and a small bedroom, separated by a sliding wall and each with a double bed. A mezzanine under the roof offers one more sleeping place. There is a bathroom with shower and bathtub.
Nature and surroundings
The immediate area around the station, where in the past the wagons of the steam trains were loaded with goods including mainly sugar beets has been transformed into a landscape garden of 1.30 ha. Two yew trees over 100 years old invite you to explore the garden. Children can romp in the garden, can meet in the willow hut or build a camp in our forest. You can quietly enjoy nature or pick organic vegetables from our picking garden that we share with our guests. The Hagelands Haspengouw of Landen is rich in numerous and fascinating walks along hollow roads, square farms, Merovingian remains, fields, meadows and orchards of apples and pears. We offer free bicycles for young and old to enjoy the route of the former railroad line 147, which has now been converted into a cycling path (RAVeL).
