A cozy studio in the old stable of the farm. Here you wake up to birdsong and a deer outside the door. All in one room, 5 x 10 m. Fully equipped kitchen. Wood stove with oven. Double bed 160x200. Bed linen/towels optional. Bathroom/WC, closed with curtain. Guest WC in the house can be shared. Sandstone walls and clay plastered walls ensure a pleasant indoor climate and the house is very low-radiation due to the thick walls. A large glass door leads to the covered terrace with a view of the garden, for those seeking peace and nature. Occasionally other guests on the property, approx. 50 m. away and out of sight. Road approx. 15 m. away, hardly any traffic. Surroundings: organic farming for decades. The quality of the ground water and the air contribute to a relaxing stay. The yurt can be used for yoga or meditation. There are several sitting areas in the garden. Pets are welcome provided they are kept on a lead.
Nature and surroundings
The property has a great diversity of trees, wild herbs, birds & butterflies. The landscape around Relsberg is slightly hilly up to 400m. There are hiking and cycling trails in the immediate vicinity. Quiet, less touristy, beautiful landscape which is probably also called the Palatinate Tuscany. Nature: e.g. hiking paradise Donnersberg 40 min (Celtic country-Celtic village) and biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest/swimming in the natural lake Eiswoog. Culture: castles including Lichtenberg in Kusel/Disibodenberg with the Hildegard von Bingen pilgrimage route approx. 30 min/medieval towns of Meisenheim and Otterberg with restaurants, hiking trails approx. 15 min/gemstone metropolis Idar Oberstein (gemstone museum, shopping)50 min/hiking trails and Wolfstein lime mine 10 min. Saltworks - hiking along the saltworks and Nahe river (spa town of Bad Kreuznach) Gastronomy: 10 min. Swimming: great outdoor swimming pool in Wolfstein approx. 10 min/lakes approx. 40 min. away (Eiswoog and Gelterswoog).
