The wooden house (5 x 5 m) is idyllically situated in the orchard out of sight of the house. Here you can wake up in the morning with birdsong and often a deer in front of the door. Simple furnishings: 140x200 wooden bed, fully equipped mini-kitchen, sink with (fresh) water supply. Light source: solar lamp, candle lanterns, electric light. WLAN on request. Optional bed linen & towels on site. Vaulted cellar or fridge in the house for food storage. Natural toilet next door. WC, bathroom & kitchen in the house may be shared. The floor is insulated with burnt natural cork. Super indoor climate. A small covered veranda provides shade. Sun terrace next door. Gas heating and/or electric radiators can be booked additionally. Internet in the house approx. 50 m. further. Occasional guests in the yurt, but out of sight. Restaurants 5 and 10 min. away. Pets welcome as long as they are kept on a lead and are not a nuisance to Reen. Occasionally a spider or fly...just nature.

Silence & nature, great diversity of trees and wild herbs. The landscape is hilly up to 400m. also called 'Palatinate Tuscany'. No industry in the area and organic farming for decades. Agriculture for decades. Hiking and cycling trails, including the Veldenzweg. Little touristy. Culture/nature: castles including Lichtenberg in Kusel/Donnersberg approx. 30 min. (hiking paradise in Celtic country, Celtic village). Wineries. Pfälzerwald biosphere reserve approx. 45 min. (natural lake and gastronomy). Disibodenberg - Hildegard von Bingen pilgrimage route approx. 30 min. The medieval towns of Meisenheim and Otterberg with restaurants and hiking trails approx. 15 min. away. Gemstone country Idar Oberstein. Wolfstein lime mine and Wolfsweg, Königsbergweg. Saltworks - hiking along the saltworks and Nahe river in the spa town of Bad Kreuznach. Gastronomy 5 min. from the sports hall (simple Italian cuisine) and 10 min. away in Wolfstein. Swimming? There is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool in Wolfstein (approx. 10 min.) and lakes approx. 40 min. away.
