There are many beautiful biking and hiking trails in the area. Probably the most characteristic of your stay is the peace and quiet and the view of the endless polders in which De Kunstwei is located. The beach is about 14 to 24 km away from De Kunstwei, the Veerse Meer only 4 km. Towns like Goes, Veere, Middelburg, Zierikzee, and Domburg are definitely worth a visit. Nearby (3km) is a village with a local supermarket and a bakery. If you come by public transport, it is best to rent an ov bike in Goes.
