fully equipped, with private terrace and garden views. The cottage is located on the German border in a beautiful nature reserve where you can enjoy hiking and cycling, on both sides of the border. Parking is free and you can bring your own bike. For longer stays, use of washing machine and dryer is possible at cost price. Nearby you will find cycling node 24 and walking node 61. Enjoy complete privacy due to the many greenery around the cottage. Extra relaxation can be found in the sauna and relaxation room (thirty-five euros per session) and a massage can be booked on request. Towels and bedding are provided. On request we provide fresh sandwiches or an evening meal according to weekly menu. A place to slow down and relax.
Nature and surroundings
Hebelermeer is a small, quiet village with about 450 inhabitants, less than 2 km from the Dutch border. You stay in the middle of the nature of Moor Veenland and the Bargerveen, a special landscape with open plains, peat and beautiful walking and cycling routes. Within walking distance you will find a village shop for bread and small groceries and a restaurant. For excursions, Emmen (21 km), Klazienaveen (12 km) and Meppen (20 km) are within short driving distance, each with stores, markets and restaurants. The village offers a unique combination of tranquility, nature and practical amenities. A nice place to relax, explore and really unwind.
