The yurt came there as a place to rest during our own renovations and stands at the back of our garden. We installed it with our friends and family and furnished it with sustainable materials. From the sheets to the outdoor kitchen, we thought about our children. And all those who might come after. Thanks to the outdoor kitchen, we can offer our visitors a complete place of rest. From the tagine lid on the roof, from the door handles of the Christoforus community, from the old outside door of our brother (in law) that suddenly became a beautiful window. From the gas fire and refrigerator of those dear ladies, to the sill of our own house. It became a creation based on what we could find (for free) in the second-hand market. You will feel the joy of building when you stand in the Outdoor Kitchen.... We created a composting toilet where the words "at ease" apply. The solar shower is only on paper, but washing from the washbowl from grandma's boarding school life also provides sluggishness.
Nature and surroundings
A place along the GR, at the foot of the Flemish Ardennes, that invites cycling and/or walking shoes to be explored.
