Our mobile home (built by Peter himself) is a colorful cottage for a comfortable vacation in nature. It stands among the trees in our edible landscape in the heart of Croatia. We will make the (king size) double bed for you, and if you want you can turn it into 2 couches. With the shutters and curtains closed, it will be completely dark inside. The mobile homes has a kitchenette with 2 gas burners, a kettle, percolator for coffee and pans. There is a sink with jerry can for water and a wood stove for heating. Interesting for highly sensitive people: we use natural cleaning products and no fabric softener or perfumes. The pillows, comforters and bedding are made of natural materials such as down, wool and cotton (for non-sensitive people that just means a comfortable night without sweaty bedding because natural materials breathe).

Nature and surroundings

The mobile homes are on our permaculture estate called Bogata Šuma ("Rich Forest"). We have been transforming our property into an edible landscape since 2009. There is a mature food forest, a food savannah, a large vegetable garden, a small pond for biodiversity, and we have 2 dogs (a labrador retriever and a border collie), 4 cats, chickens, rabbits, bees and sheep. Nearby you can hike, bike, visit the bizarre monument on Petrova Gora, swim in the river (10km from here), visit the Plitvice lakes and waterfalls (hour's drive) or better yet, go to Rastoke. That's a beautiful village with wooden houses where people have been living with water and waterfalls for centuries. You can learn about permaculture and sustainable living on request. Possibilities include an introductory course (half or full day), a course on sustainable living and permaculture (3 or 5 days), or a course on permaculture design for land and life (one week).
