Nature house in Nohen

The vacation apartment is located on the edge of the forest in the beautiful Hunsrück; dormice, fire salamanders, fireflies. In the evening you can hear the tawny owl calling, the mother deer calling her young; a wild romantic garden belongs to this property, it ends at a natural stream. You are welcome to light a fire outside in the courtyard. The 50 square meter vacation apartment can be reached via the house's own courtyard. It has been created with ecological materials: Solid wood furniture, clay plaster, marsh lime paint, natural oils for the wooden floors. The apartment itself has WLAN; this place is a place to slow down! The kitchen is fully equipped. Toaster, coffee press machine and kettle are of course also there; bed linen, towels and hairdryer are included in the price, a washing machine can be used for an extra charge! In the bathroom of the apartment there is a walk-in shower. From 2024: An external, mobile sauna can be booked for relaxation.

Nohen is located in the beautiful, unspoiled Hunsrück region. As early as the Bronze Age, an old trade route passed through our village, the "Old Path" still tells of this. The Nohener Traumschleife, one of the many Hunsrück hiking trails, also runs through Nohen; the Nahe-Steig trail also passes right by Nohen. Here in our region you can still feel the Celtic era in many places, Idar-Oberstein as a gemstone town is only a few kilometers away from us...and if you are an experienced hiker, you can still find some edible mushrooms here in our forests from late summer onwards. Nohen is located directly in the triangle of the beautiful cities of Trier, Saarbrücken and Koblenz. Day trips there are highly recommended. And if you need to cool off in summer, you can go to the nearby Bostalsee in Saarland. Our Nohen train station is about 500 meters away from our Nature house!
