Vosges is a beautiful rolling and wooded region in eastern France. You can enjoy beautiful nature with green forests and clear blue lakes, charming villages and nice towns. Ideally suited for hiking, cycling and mountain biking. The nature house is beautifully and quietly situated about 1 kilometer outside the town. The village has three bakeries, two butchers, two supermarkets, a pharmacy, three banks with ATMs. There is also a post office and the town has four restaurants, a tourist office and an indoor swimming pool. Every Sunday morning there is a local market in the square next to the church (Place du Sô). Le Val d'Ajol and its surroundings know a number of annual events. The most famous of these is the Andouille Fête which takes place every third weekend of February. There are thermal baths in Luxueil-les-Bains and Plombiere-les-Bains very suitable for relaxation. In La Bresse is a very nice and still fairly unknown ski resort.
