A Deluxe hotel room including breakfast in the village of Oosterend at the foot of the dunes. Every morning breakfast is served in our restaurant. The hotel room has a minibar, Nespresso and a kettle and the room has a private bathroom with shower. There is also a seat to relax and recover from a day exploring Terschelling. Of course the beds are made and towels are provided. The rooms are located on the second floor there is no elevator. There is Wifi and not to mention digital information so you can already see from your chair what you could do on the island. On the grounds of the hotel there are several terraces with garden furniture and gardens that you are free to use.
Nature and surroundings
The dune area is 2.5 kilometers to the wide North Sea beach. The Wadden Sea is 300 meters this is truly a unique area and has even been awarded as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can enjoy the foraging birds, the small life left behind in the small pools and the tides ebbing and flowing. Nature reserve de Boschplaat is one kilometer from the hotel. In this area you can enjoy the flora and fauna, from rabbit to deer, from pheasant to spoonbill, from orchids to sundew really a great diversity. Also, from the hotel, this area is known for its dark nights where you can even see the Milky Way on a clear night. Boschplaat is recognized as a dark sky park an international label for really dark places. in the village are restaurants, and a bicycle rental for stores you need to go to Midsland at 8 kilometers or to West Terschelling at 13 kilometers. The nearest supermarket is 3 kilometers.
