In the middle of nature, surrounded by trees, with visits from deer, rabbits and squirrels, you'll find the right place to sit inside and outside for every moment. The large windows in the living room offer coziness with a view. The well-equipped kitchen is ideal for relaxed cooking. The terraces invite you to barbecue. The sheltered balcony allows you to relax at treetop level. And there is also a sauna with a wood-burning stove and firelight. All of this can be found in this lovingly furnished vacation home with its large and versatile garden! On the way to self-sufficiency, our Nature house in Coburg already has its own water cycle with rainwater treatment, a plant-based sewage treatment system and a dry separation toilet.
Nature and surroundings
Right outside the gate of the small oasis is the path to the courtyard garden of the charming town of Coburg. You can reach the impressive Veste and the picturesque old town with the Ehrenburg and the Landestheater on foot in just a few minutes - all without having to cross a single street. Coburg offers a wide range of charming places to eat and drink. You can immerse yourself in history with guided tours, which are also offered at the nearby Rosenau and Callenberg castles. There are two spas in the immediate vicinity; in Bad Rodach and Bad Staffelstein. Hiking is wonderful at any time of year in the charming countryside around the Staffelberg or on the Rennsteig in Thuringia. And if you want to explore even more, Bamberg and Nuremberg or Kronach and Kulmbach are not far away. Erfurt and Bayreuth are also just over an hour away.
