Nature house in Saint-Sulpice-d'Excideuil

Our 17th-century house is located in a beautiful hamlet in the northeast of the Dordogne, in the middle of nature. We live here with our pets. In a side wing of our house you have your own very nice little house of 2 x 20m2 with its own front door. Modern comfort in an old package. Attractive living kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dining table with fine tub chairs, 2 modern armchairs. French crockery in the cupboard, nice cutlery, good pans. The stairs lead to the bedroom under the sloping beam roof (less suitable for very tall people) followed by the bathroom with bathtub, toilet, sink, towel warmer, hair dryer. The bed is not wide (1.40) but has a super mattress (according to our guests :-)) and views over the courtyard, the beautiful hamlet and nature. In front of the cottage is a small terrace, otherwise you use the enclosed garden / courtyard with beautiful roof. Bed/bath/kitchen linen = provided. Wifi is NOT there, but ok mobile coverage. Zen in the Dordogne!

Hills, small roads, villages full of atmosphere and history, markets, caves, nature at its best. We live here at about 300 meters altitude in a beautiful hamlet of Boueysseix. Silent nights with many stars, to stay up for. Right out of the front door you walk straight into nature, so should you come with your dog, he will have a top vacation! Furthermore, it's great cycling with your MTB or electric bike. We can have electric MTBs delivered by a company in Excideuil. Beautiful golf course (12km), swimming in the clear swimming lake of Nantheuil (7km). Thiviers (13km) has a very nice market on Saturdays, Excideuil (10km) on Thursdays. For even more culture, go to beautiful Saint Jean de Côle, the castle of Hautefort, the caves of Villars. Or you just do nothing. Zen! Even cooking is not necessary, we provide on request every day a delicious 3-course menu (table d'hôtes). The Dordogne = good food!
