Enjoy this cozy forest cottage! This forest cottage is beautifully (privately) located in nature reserve 't Rommelgebergte near Winterswijk. Just 5 minutes away from the nature reserve Korenburgerveen, this is the ideal base for a nice vacation. The ground floor bungalow is suitable for 4 pers. The nature house has a cozy living room with open kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet. Everything is available in the nature house: sanitary facilities, kitchen utensils, oven, dishwasher, up to a workstation, books, games and Netflix! The bungalow is equipped with central heating and Wi-Fi. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds (1 x 160 and 1 x 140) and 1 study (office) including a monitor and internet. The ideal place for your vacation/workation! Outdoor facilities such as table, chairs and benches are available plus one ladies bike. *From May 12, 2023, the barrel outdoor sauna can be used (per day) - wood-fired, when booked extra.

The forest cottage stands on a spacious plot of 1560m2 and has a lot of privacy. On the terrace side you have beautiful views of the forest garden. The nature house is located near the most beautiful nature reserves of the Achterhoek, including the Korenburgerveen, Wooldse Veen and Zwillbrocker Venn. The recreational lake 't Hilgelo is also close by, with a lovely sandy beach (and beach tent!). Winterswijk has the largest walking and cycling path network (225 kilometers) in the Netherlands, so more than enough walking and cycling routes to explore. Directly adjacent to the cottage is a mountain bike trail (40 km). The center of the Achterhoek village of Winterswijk is just under 5km from the cottage. Here you will find all kinds of nice stores, good restaurants, terraces, various museums and other recreational facilities. A visit to the eastern neighbors is also possible, the German border Germany is 3km away. In short: you will not be bored for a moment.
