It was love at first sight when we found this cozy cedar Chalet. We refurbished her with our own hands into a comfortable 36 m2 Tiny house with a vintage look, embraced by greenery and firmly connected to the Frisian ierde (earth). A lovely place to stay cozy and warm, daydreaming away while overlooking the countryside. Deliberately no TV a nice place to unwind for up to 3 people. (18+) Complete kitchen with 4 burner stove, airfryer, coffee machine and kettle. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Guests provide their own breakfast, stores and restaurants are nearby. There is a fire pit, AIRCO, WIFI and a large BBQ. Enjoy the light and beautiful views in the large garden greenhouse with wood stove (free shared use) Sauna & jacuzzi (€89) Private Yoga through our Yoga Studio Lifestyle Barn can be booked separately on request.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is in the yard of an old farmhouse, on a cul-de-sac. You sleep among oak trees and orchard overlooking the swimming pond and meadows with sheep, cows and horses within walking distance of Taconisbos, Heidemeer and Engelenvaart. Country stores with fresh eggs, dairy and local products are around the corner, as are the supermarket and Skating Hall Thialf. Center Heerenveen with cozy restaurants is 5 min drive) Nature Easterskar with bird watching cabin, the beautiful Oranjewoud with large observation tower, Eco Cathedral Museum Belvedere and the picturesque Overtuin at 5 km. In the natural swimming pond a pair of wild ducks breeds every year and in spring you can hear the frogs croaking. Foxes, deer, hedgehogs, squirrels and martens visit regularly.
