The apartment offers plenty of privacy. There is a private entrance and P space for both cars and bikes. There is also space to safely store your kite and surfboards. The apartment is located on the 1st floor and offers a beautiful panoramic view over the meadows and the forest edge of the Lycklama forest. You can see the swallows skimming over the pond and, if you are lucky, you can even spot the kingfisher. Deer hide in our park-like garden in the tall grass and it is so much fun to spot them (binoculars are provided). The interior is comfortable. The sitting area has a 2-seater sofa and an armchair, a high dining table and a kitchen with induction cooking, combi-oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, kettle, Nespresso machine and a filter machine. The bedroom has 2 separate comfortable box springs. The bathroom has a rain shower, toilet and sink. As icing on the cake, there is a new beautiful hot tub (+ €35) for hours of relaxing!
Nature and surroundings
The surroundings are truly beautiful. Located in the middle of the nature of Gaasterland, you have access to vast forests, the IJsselmeer and charming villages. It is an ideal location for nature lovers. From the apartment you can spot wildlife such as deer, foxes and badgers. In addition, you can enjoy the Frisian countryside, with picturesque meadows full of grazing cows, sheep and horses. The area offers plenty of opportunities for activities such as hiking, cycling, horseback riding and there is a 9-hole golf course nearby. The landscape is varied, with rolling hills that you might not immediately expect to find in Friesland. The advantage of Friesland is that it is virtually congestion-free, making driving relaxed and you can quickly travel to other beautiful locations. From Harlingen, for example, to Vlieland / Wadden Island. For kite surfers there is the 'Mirnser Klif'. In short, the area offers something for everyone and guarantees an unforgettable Noflik stay!
