Nature house La Jolière (smoke and pet free) is a 200 year old farmhouse with 8 acres of land located in hilly Normandy. With beautiful views on all sides you imagine yourself for a moment in your own vacation paradise. La Jolière offers peace and quiet with all necessary amenities within easy reach. Vast (wooded) hiking areas, cycling and mountain biking trails, waterfalls, a large lake - where you can hike, fish, canoe or rent a boat - and a golf course in the vicinity, make the ideal vacation picture complete. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, the 180m2 house is suitable for families (small and large) and families. You can swim in your own private heated pool (open May 31-Sept 27), play a game of bocce or badminton in the garden. Videos, books and games are provided for rainy days. The games room - with pool table, table tennis, table soccer, shuffleboard, chess and darts - offers fun for young and old alike

Beautiful hiking and biking trails are at the foot of the driveway. You can walk to the forest and a 5-minute drive away is the golf course overlooking Lac de la Dathee where you can fish, canoe or rent a boat. Gathemo, the nearest village with a bar, store and bakery, is 3.2km away. At 4.8km in the other direction is St Germain de Tallevande with a pharmacy, bar and small supermarket. At 7.8km is the beautiful Sourdeval with several (organic) supermarkets, bakeries, cafes and restaurants. The bustling Vire with stores, restaurants, cinema, theater, market etc. is 9.6km away. The house is centrally located and therefore many interesting destinations are easily accessible by car: Le Mont St Michel is 50 minutes, the west coast with beautiful beaches at 40 minutes, Bayeux and the invasion beaches of Normandy at 1½ hours or, much closer to home, the beautiful Saint-Sever forest and Cascade de Mortain with one of the few waterfalls in Normandy
