Surprisingly large and fully equipped, that is our fully tastefully decorated chalet, of which we are particularly proud! It has room for 4 people, hidden between the trees behind our farmhouse, located in the hamlet of Ritsumasyl and situated along the van Harinxmakanaal opposite the first bio bike bridge in the world. The living room has a beautiful view over the meadows, you can see the boats passing by on the canal. Sleeping will certainly succeed with the created 2-person bed of 160 cm wide, and for the small guests a bunk bed, where also adults can sleep relaxed. We have many hobby animals around the farm, dogs, cats, chickens (fresh eggs for sale) geese, ducks, and in the adjacent meadow Land goats. Plenty of books to read, and wifi to relax behind your laptop. Leeuwarden is accessible by bike about 3.5 km away. In front of our farm, along the van Harinxmakanaal runs a beautiful walking/cycling route.
Nature and surroundings
With no words to describe, the space tranquility and the beautiful view over the meadows, the van Harinxmakanaal, with in the distance the Church Tower of Deinum, (Yn Deinum stiet in sipel op 'e toer). Boats passing by every day, the bicycle bridge opening and closing. This is Friesland with space, nature and culture. But also enjoying the proximity of the city of Leeuwarden.
