In the heart of Touraine just 10 km from the center of Tours, in a quiet natural setting, we welcome you in our cozy cottage. The old barn on the property next to our country house has been restored and converted into a lovely cozy and comfortable stay with beautiful views of the spacious green garden. On the terrace adjacent to the living room you can enjoy the tranquility and the view and will soon meet one of our cats, chickens or ducks that are curious and friendly by nature. The kitchen overlooking the pond is adjacent to a second terrace where you can enjoy lunch, dinner or drinks in privacy. Our cottage also has a spacious bathroom, a mezzanine with a comfortable double bed (160x200) and a toilet. The beds are made upon arrival and in the bathroom you will find the necessary towels and toiletries.

Our house, as mentioned, is located in Touraine, part of the famous Loire Valley (Loire valley). Here, around 1530, Catherine de Medecis was married off to Henry II, youngest son of the French King François I, and thus the Italian Renaissance came to France. The many castles, Chambord, Chenonceau, Amboise, Blois...bear witness to this rich historical past. They can all be visited and are a short drive from our house. La Touraine is called "the Garden of France. Many beautiful gardens can be visited here : Villandry, Chenonceau, Chaumont-sur Loire where a wonderful garden festival is put on every year. The Loire Valley has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2000. It is a pleasure to cycle along the Loire and take advantage of the beautiful views or enjoy a cup of coffee at landscaped terraces. The city of Tours with its medieval city center is also worth a visit.Something for everyone !
