Direct access to the lake with private jetty and own mooring box: 6,9m x 2,9m for eg sailing boat type Falcon (depth 0,8m). Ideal for sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and swimming. Spacious garden of 4100 m². Suitable for summer and winter. One double bedroom on the ground floor, Avek bed 1,6x2,1m. In the attic 2x bedrooms with each 2x single bed. Number of people for rental is maximum 4 due to capacity in the cottage. Bookings are from Friday to Friday for a minimum of 7 nights for the months of July and August. Access via two-track path with bend to the right.

The cottage is located at the end of the road and is the last cottage in Sandfirden. It is surrounded by water and meadows. The village of Sandfirden consists of a few houses, farms and a beautiful church of the early 18th century. Both parts of the Brekken, Oudegaaster Brekken and Vlakke Brekken, are separated by a constriction. It seems as if the meadows on either side of the water want to rejoin each other. In earlier centuries, people could reach out to each other; a narrow sand ridge ran between the water, a "fird," a transition, or ford. Hence the name Sandfirden. It can be walked and biked. Finally, beautiful sunsets can be admired.
