Cozy & comfortable chalet in the middle of nature, located in Hamme Moerzeke in a dead end street where privacy is guaranteed. You can relax in our large private garden (more than 3000m2) with its own pond. A place where silence & sounds of nature surround you and which invites you to beautiful walks & bike rides in the lush nature and along the water (Schelde, Durme & Old Durme). The property is fenced along 4 sides. The pond itself is also fenced to guard the safety of children. You can swim and fish to your heart's content! Our cozy terrace at this chalet shows you a unique sunset over the water and you can enjoy a delicious BBQ. This chalet is suitable for 2 couples or family with max 6 persons. The cozy living room converts into a 2persoons room through the sofa bed. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove with 2 basins, coffee machine and all kitchen utensils. Bed linen and towels are included. Option: breakfast, BBQ package, dinner
Nature and surroundings
This chalet is a lovely vacation home in picturesque Moerzeke (Hamme) where you can enjoy nature and tranquility & swim and fish to your heart's content. It is a wonderful place to make long walking and cycling trips along the Scheldt, Durme and Oude Durme. There is a bike rental service in town hall Hamme. The bicycle network Scheldeland and Waasland, can be obtained at the tourist office and also online. With the free ferries you can sail (every half hour) to the other side of the Scheldt. You can go to Mariekerke (from Moerzeke) Weert (from Driegoten) or Tielrode (from Hamme). There are numerous attractions nearby such as Cabaret Magiq where you can imagine yourself in the Moulin Rouge. In cultural center Jan Tervaert you can go for an evening of culture. Or would you rather play padel? Sports center Broeksken is a short distance away. From May to September, the center's outdoor swimming pool is open.
