Sailing enthusiasts and peace seekers beware! Our houseboat with large, enclosed garden is located at a small marina on the Koppoel in Rijpwetering, one of the Kagerplassen. We always really enjoy when we are there: swimming in the Koppoel, sailing around the Kagerplassen. All transportation for on the water (inflatable canoe, sup) is available. In the sunny garden we enjoy the nice weather and light a fire every evening. We enjoy sharing this place with other nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts. The houseboat was renovated in 2022: a new bathroom (tiny, but with rain shower), new window frames with double glazing, heating and we cook electrically (a combi oven is present). As a result, this lovely place can now be used even in winter. The decor is simple and tasteful, view beautiful. Two bedrooms (without door) are in the houseboat, the bunk bed (suitable for children) is in the garden house (separate electric heater).
Nature and surroundings
We can say you are staying in a postcard: a real Dutch landscape with a twelve-sided mill as a back neighbor, dikes and beautiful cycling routes. The immediate surroundings offer enough to entertain you for a week: the Kagerplassen of course, swimming beach the Kleipoel, and eatery De Vergulde Vos in the village. There are two bicycles available to explore the area. And a few minutes' walk away is a large riding school. Want more? The attractive cities of Leiden, The Hague and Amsterdam (and Schiphol Airport) are also all within half an hour.
