The cozy front house is furnished with great care. It is non-smoking. The beds are made. A little surprise awaits on arrival. All linen is included in the price. Around the cottage is a spacious garden with terrace overlooking the village canal. The garden is completely fenced. There is a shed. In the living room you can sit and enjoy the view. There is a TV, wifi, central heating, reading books and games. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob with hood, microwave, oven, water heater, kettle and a bean coffee maker. The sauna, fridge freezer and dishwasher are in the spacious hall. The downstairs bedroom has 2 box-spring beds. The attic has 2 single beds which can be reached via a good staircase. Camping cot, highchair available bring your own sheets. Press the button and the coffee runs. There are 3 dogs welcome. In consultation sometimes more. Short weekend departure at 16.00. Now also berth for boat. Fishing spot on own jetty.

Looking for a quiet vacation? Or a more active vacation. Marlot is a beautiful base. There is much to discover in the area. Visit the beautiful nature reserves Weerribben-de Wieden. Don't forget your binoculars. There are several watchtowers in the area. You can reach these via the cycling, hiking and canoeing routes. You can stay here with 4 people and it can only be reached on foot. The front house is not wheelchair accessible. You have to cross an original Gieterse bridge. In the middle of the village and still enjoy the tranquility experience it in cottage Marlot. Every day you can go out to enjoy Giethoorn and its surroundings. Museums, water sports and restaurants are within walking distance. Public transport and the supermarket are 1.5 km away. Nearby you can rent: electric boat, bikes, sup, canoe for everyone something. You can also swim in the Bovenwijde or at a swimming beach. Surrounding villages Vollenhove, Meppel and Zwartsluis. Visit museums in the area.
