The wooden house with fireplace and clay walls stands on a 1,000 square meter plot on the edge of the village by the trout river. It has a very quiet, secluded location with a view of the greenery. The living room is approx. 36 m² in size and has large floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of the garden and the forest. The clear height at the ridge beam is almost 4 meters. The living room with its wood-burning fireplace is the heart of the house, providing pleasant warmth in the cold season and creating a cozy atmosphere for evenings for two. The fireplace is coated with clay and has slate elements; once heated, it provides pleasant radiant heat for a long time. The living room, bathroom and bedroom have clay walls and are painted with ecological clay paint. A bathroom made of natural slate with a walk-in shower and a bedroom with a double bed made of alder wood complete the offer. A 1.20 m "snorer's sofa" is available in the living room. A well-equipped kitchen and a dining table complete the offer.
Nature and surroundings
Heinersdorf in Thuringia is surrounded by forests, meadows and valleys, nestled between mountains ranging from 400 to over 600 meters high. Towards the south, the Tettautal opens up into the Upper Franconian Genussregion and the mountains become flatter. The "Tettautal" nature reserve begins at the northern end of the village, the long-distance cycle path and the "Green Belt" run through this valley and village. There are plenty of other cycle and hiking trails. In the Tettautal nature reserve along the Tettau (source close to the Rennsteig), you can reach the Rennsteig hiking trail to the "Kalten Küche" after almost 17 km by bike or on foot. There, the Rennsteig hiking trail coming from Thuringia continues in the Franconian Forest, later crossing the former inner-German border several times. Heinersdorf is one of the oldest villages in the Sonneberg district. As a market town in Radenzgau, it was first mentioned in a document in 1071. St. Mary's Church
