My wife, Kelly and I welcome you to stay in our special (and lovingly restored) houseboat in beautiful Alkmaar! With unique touches in everything, you will find this the perfect place to recharge and enjoy your vacation. The view is always changing, depending on the boats and wildlife passing by. Located on the same property at the Ambachtsmolen (a historic mill from 1632). You cannot choose a more special, romantic, memorable place for your vacation in Holland!
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a historic dike and peninsula...surrounded by reeds. It is peaceful and quiet, yet not far from the beautiful city of Alkmaar. You can travel by boat (we have an electric boat for rent), or borrow our canoes. We also have two bicycles you can use, if you like. We have a large yard with very friendly sheep and chickens and several areas where you can sit and enjoy.
