The country kitchen, at one end of the barn, leads directly onto a shaded and covered dining terrace, with BBQ, overlooking the garden. In the middle of the barn is a dining table and sitting area with sofas in front of a large chimney. The main bedroom has a large comfortable double bed 160x200cm. The main bathroom has an extra wide shower and separate bath tub. Above the main bedroom is a very large open plan mezzanine with full size English snooker table and two single beds. Alternatively a second separate double bedroom, with en suite shower and wc, is also available, on the ground floor of the main house (the owners home), with an independent entrance. The garden and pool of the rental property are orientated away from the owner's home.Sorry no pets allowed. The owner has their own cats on the property.

Le Sabatou previously had vineyards and lavendar on the slopes of the horse shoe shaped geography surrounding the property. Since 1989 Le Sabatou has flourished as a protected nature reserve free from pesticides and other agricultural chemicals and the land has been returned to nature. After 30years Le Sabatou has seen the return of an extraordinary abundance of protected wild flowers, particularly orchids and healing Bach plants. This, in turn, has stimulated the return of the bees and a huge diversity of insects, especially protected butterflies, which has triggered the revival of a fabulous eco system. We have witnessed the return of many species of birds, including eagles and owls, small animals such as the pine martin, hare and fox. Today the tranquil deer are visible in the open wild flower meadow around the house.Walking and Cycling Holidays. Small paths lead off directly from the house for off road cycling and walking.
