Come stay with us in rural Stokkum, hamlet of Markelo in Overijssel. Characteristic for our farm is the relaxed atmosphere, the tranquility and geniality. A longer stay with us is also very well possible. Would you like to wake up in the morning and have breakfast between the alpacas? That too is possible!
Nature and surroundings
If you want to unwind then you have come to the right place. In the garden we have a few cozy seats from where you can enjoy our animals (alpacas, ponies and chickens) and the sunset over the meadows. The farm is situated in an ideal location for a lovely walk. For example, walk the Twentse Wallen walking route. In 2018, this route was voted the most beautiful route of the Netherlands and Hoeve Zandbelt is located on this route. A must for hiking is also on and around Twickel estate. For cycling enthusiasts, there are also plenty of opportunities in the area. Your bike can be safely stored in the barn and charging e-bikes is no problem. A short distance away you will find, among other things, nature reserve 'The National Park Sallandse Heuvelrug'.
