New! Former workspace renovated into cozy, modern Tiny house, with a touch of vintage. Located in the garden of owner/artist-teacher, on a quiet walking path in the middle of the beautiful Heuvelland of South Limburg. The cottage offers enough space for 2 people and is secluded for sufficient privacy. From your private terrace you have an unobstructed view over the meadows, with setting sun on the horizon, where the village center of Banholt is located. Here you can walk in 5 to 10 minutes, past the sheep and horses. For the colder days, the pellet stove is filled. You can also both heat and cool with the available silent split air conditioning. There is TV incl. Netflix. Bedding, towels, kitchen linens, hair dryer provided. The refrigerator has no freezer compartment. Our old, sweet 3-legged pet dog Jackie and enthusiastic puppy Sammy will want to greet you, but can't go on your terrace (unless you like it). The cat flap is now the "extraction flap.
Nature and surroundings
The main house is located on a cul-de-sac in Terhorst, a small hamlet of Banholt. Around the corner you are directly in a quiet area. The area has endless walking and cycling routes and is ideally suited for lovers of peace and nature. The village has a supermarket, restaurant, café and chip shop. You are also close to the border with the Voer region in Belgium. Parking in front of the door is free. Bicycles can be put inside and charged for free. For a fun city trip a short drive away: Maastricht (15 minutes), Liege (25 minutes) and Aachen (40 minutes). There is an OV bus stop in the neighboring village at 2.5 km. Picking you up/dropping you there is possible, but depends on the days/times. Our village has ancient traditions, including the annual "Den halen" and the Bronk procession at Pentecost.
