Peace, space and freedom! In the middle of the rugged landscape of Noardeast Fryslan, you will find this nature house. On over 1 hectare of private land you can enjoy the beautiful woodland garden and the views over the Frisian landscape. The lodge has been thoroughly renovated in 2023. Enjoy the warm, luxurious and rural atmosphere.On the ground floor are the 3 bedrooms with lovely made beds. Each bedroom has a bathroom en suite, with plenty of soft towels. The ground floor has underfloor heating, which can be set separately in each bedroom. On the second floor is the fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, dishwasher, oven/microwave, refrigerator and freezer. You can socialize and play games at the large dining table and lounge on the comfortable sofa with a mighty fine view.The cottage has wifi.
Nature and surroundings
Noardeast Fryslan is challenging and surprising! A stone's throw from the Nijkrúslãn Lodge you will find the varied and unspoiled landscape of the Lauwersmeer. Hikers and cyclists can indulge themselves here. It is a special area with its "primal nature," the bald eagle and activities such as the Dark Sky Park, where you can go on nighttime excursions and spot stars on a sky platform. Above all, discover the wadden coast with its typical Fiskerhuskens. And just do it: up to your ankles in the mud, a mudflat walk is highly recommended.And then Dokkum. A beautiful small town with a rich past, where time has not stood still. The most original stores and cozy eateries can be found here.Fancy a day at the beach? The ferry to Schiermonnikoog is just around the corner and will take you to this lovely island within 20 minutes.
