Come and enjoy Normandy in this cozy cottage! Quietly situated in an oasis of green and where you see deer and foxes more often than other people. And because there is no light pollution, you can often enjoy a beautiful starry sky at night.Through the long driveway you get to the house, which is completely free among the trees and meadows. The house has a cozy living room with wood stove. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with many amenities. Downstairs is 1 bedroom and a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, one with bathroom-en-suites. The other bedroom has a separate room with sink and toilet. Outside there is a spacious terrace with garden furniture and BBQ. There are so many used/2nd hand items and materials in the house. Outside, we let biodiverse nature take its course as much as possible. Take a walk around the grounds and enjoy the peace and greenery, discover the clear stream, spot wildlife or cuddle with the donkeys and ponies.
Nature and surroundings
Chaulieu is a small rural village with an observation tower. It is the high(ish) point of the Manche region. Sourdeval is 5 minutes away by car. There you will find several stores, restaurants, 3 bakeries and a supermarket. Every week there is a lively market. 10 minutes away is Vire. A cozy town with several large supermarkets, a train station, nice stores and a horse track; the sport of Normandy! In the house are so many used / 2nd hand articles and materials. And outside we let nature take its course as much as possible. Take a walk around the grounds and enjoy the peace and greenery, discover the clear stream, spot wildlife or cuddle with a donkey or pony. You can take beautiful walks, enjoy cycling or mountain biking, play golf or enjoy the water at Lac Dathée. Fantastic starting point for trips to Mont Saint Michel, Paris, the Channel Islands or the historic D-day beaches.
