The Appelbongert farm is over 100 years old and is located approx. 1 km from the Dämmerwald forest in the middle of the Hohe Mark Nature Park. In the main house there are 2 vacation apartments and an apartment. The apartments are well equipped so that self-catering is possible. The vacation apartment "Birch" is wheelchair accessible. It has one bedroom and a further 4 beds in the living room. An additional bedroom with bathroom can be booked for an extra charge. The dining area in the "Birch" can be extended for up to 14 people. In the outdoor area there are rustic places to linger. And if you are looking for an adventure, you can sleep under the open sky in the warm season and enjoy the view of the stars... Located in the middle of the Hohe-Mark Nature Park, our Nature house apartments offer an ideal location for exploring the Lower Rhine, Münsterland and Ruhr regions. The hiking and cycle path networks are very well developed and lovingly managed restaurants and farm stores invite you to enjoy products from the region. And if you're not in the mood for excursions, discover the Appelbongert. We have been recognized as an official project of the UN Decades of Education for Sustainable Development and Biodiversity.
