UPSTAIRS The 2 bedrooms have original oak beams and views over the woods at the front.There are electric radiators in each bedroom. There is one double (Antique French bed 190x140) and one twin bedroom, where an extra bed can accommodate an extra child. Stairgate at the top of stairs. OUTSIDEThere is a private patio with table,parasol & chairs front of the Gite,a private garden across the lane,with table,chairs,parasol &BBQ to enjoy the woodland views and wildlife around us.

In this sheltered and unspoilt valley there is an abundance of Wildlife to admire. All year round Birdsong with Buzzards, Woodpeckers ,Owls and numerous other woodland species, including the petite Firecrest, the exotic looking Hoopoe and the elusive Golden Oriel. The lakes and ponds attract Kingfishers Herons,Ducks ,Frogs,Bullfrogs and Toads. Many insects such as Grasshoppers, Crickets (including the Giant Green Cricket!) ,Praying Mantis, Stick Insects,Bees, Beetles ,Carpenter Bees and Ladybirds, enjoy the Wildflower maze and flower gardens. Butterflies are many and various -from the early Clouded Yellow ,the petite Common Blue, to the rare magnificent Swallowtail -all feeding on the Wildflowers and on the Buddleia.Look out for the Hummingbird Moth feeding on the Lavender.Lizards bathe in the sunshine on walls and stones. You may glimpse our Red Squirrels,Roe Deer,Bats,Stone Martins & Coypu. There is a large private dining area,games field, wildflower maze and sunny shared Pool.
