The campsite has three cabins, each of which can accommodate 4 people.These wooden cabins are situated in an ideal spot on the campsite and are a great place to stay for a hike or short vacation.It is an ideal way to settle down in Giethoorn, whether you are on foot, by bicycle, by boat or canoe or by car.Present in the cabins: stove, bucket, washing up bowl, kettle, pillows, jerry can, broom and dustpan and electric heater.What we recommend to bring: pillowcase, fitted sheet, sleeping bag, pans, plates, cutlery and kitchen utensils.For the 5th person bring your own mattress. 5,- extra.A small tent next to the cabin is allowed at the normal camping rate.For shower tokens please contact the reception.The cabins are pet-free. The bed linen is optional to book for €10,- per set and bath linen for €5,- per set.
Nature and surroundings
Welcome to the green Venice of Giethoorn. Canals, lakes, bridges, thatched farmhouses and beautiful gardens determine the village image of Giethoorn. In the middle of this unique environment lies this campsite, adjacent to the lake the Bovenwiede and National Park Weerribben-Wieden. Active recreation in a natural environment for young and old. There are many cycling and walking routes, boating and canoeing routes to explore the area. Swimming, fishing but also windsurfing, supping and sailing are among the possibilities at this campsite. From the campsite you can walk along the village canal to the many restaurants, museums and stores. The surroundings of Giethoorn are also special and worth exploring. The campsite is not accessible by car.
