This water lodge is an unusual and luxurious cottage (with 2 bathrooms) for 4 people. It stands directly on the open waterway overlooking the Wijde Ee. The cottage is well equipped and has all basic comforts. The sitting area is somewhat elevated, so that you can also look out over the water from the bench over the dike. Between kitchen and sitting area is a round dining table. The kitchen also has an extra seat in front of the window. So you can always find a nice spot. The wood stove provides warmth late at night and in winter. Of course, the cottage is well insulated and there is additional heating for cold days. The bedrooms, each with access to a private bathroom, give extra privacy.
Nature and surroundings
Pean-buiten is located directly on the Wijde Ee, sailing water that is part of one of the most beautiful sailing areas of Friesland. From this lake you can easily sail northeast (without bridges) to Grou or the national park the Alde Feanen with the villages Eernewoude and de Veenhoop. If you sail southwest, you come to Akkrum, Terherne and the Sneekermeer.Experience this beautiful area from the water with canoe, supboard, sloop, motorboat or sailboat. Due to its diversity, the waterways are very suitable for beginners and advanced water sports enthusiasts. There are also several biking and hiking opportunities in the area. The variety of meadows and waterways typifies the Frisian landscape. The catering and cultural facilities in the various villages such as Akkrum, Grou, de Veenhoop and Aldeboarn are excellent.
