The water lodge (with bath) is a luxury cottage of Pean-buiten. It is very private, between the houses on the waterfront by seeIn this cottage you experience Friesland at its best. Close to open waterways, away from the hustle and bustle. Through the wide windows you have a generous view of the pond, the Lytse Ie. Inside, the Waterlodge is the most luxurious cottage due to the presence of a bathtub. On a chilly evening you can light the wood stove. Suitable for one or two couples/friends seeking peace and quiet. you the Wijde Ee from the terrace or the elevated seating area. The cottage is well equipped and has all the basic comforts. The sitting area is somewhat elevated, so that you also have a view of the water from the bench over the dike. Between kitchen and sitting area is a round dining table. The kitchen also has an extra seat in front of the window. So you can always find a nice spot.
Nature and surroundings
Pean-buiten is located directly on the Wijde Ee, sailing water that is part of one of the most beautiful sailing areas of Friesland. From this lake you can easily sail northeast (without bridges) to Grou or the national park the Alde Feanen with the villages Eernewoude and de Veenhoop. If you sail southwest, you will reach Akkrum, Terherne and the Sneekermeer. Experience this beautiful area from the water with a canoe, supboard, sloop, motorboat or sailing boat. Due to the diversity, the waterways are very suitable for beginners and advanced water sports enthusiasts. There are also several biking and hiking opportunities in the area. The variety of meadows and waterways typifies the Frisian landscape. The catering and cultural facilities in the various villages such as Akkrum, Grou, de Veenhoop and Aldeboarn are excellent.
