Birdsong, rustling trees and soothing silence: come enjoy peace and quiet in this complete (93m2) detached wooden vacation home on 400 m2 of land, in the middle of the forest (lots of privacy!). Discover the quiet outskirts of Cantecleer, a green oasis in the wooded hills near Nijmegen. The place for peace seekers and active nature lovers. The house feels cozy with natural insulation and mud walls. Here you come home to yourself in the middle of nature. There is a wood stove and an infrared sauna (extra charge). In the bird-filled flower garden you will find several seating areas, with sun or shade. In and around the natural pond there is always something to discover and on the sunny roof terrace you can doze off in a lazy hammock. Upstairs you will sleep in a large double bed. In the living room there is another double sofa bed and a lovely lounge sofa. Bathroom with walk-in shower. Includes linens, towel, soap, tea and filter coffee. Welcome to my vacation home! Nature and surroundings
The green small bungalow park Cantecleer is located at the edge of the Groesbeekse Bos, in the hills east of Nijmegen. It is an ideal nature reserve for many invigorating walks or bike rides to Germany (Reichswald and city of Kleve), Limburg (Jansberg and Mookerheide).The beautiful pilgrimage route Walk of Wisdom runs along the park. In the Middle Ages, the Groesbeekse Bos was part of the Ketelwand: a primeval forest that ran from Nijmegen to Xanten in Germany. Bungalowpark Cantecleer is a 30-minute walk from Mook-Molenhoek train station and a 30-minute bike ride from the lively center of Nijmegen. At 10 minutes cycling or 45 minutes walking through the forest are the villages Malden (with swimming pool and complete shopping center) and cozy wine village Groesbeek, with freedom museum, brewery, multiple supermarkets and Saturday market. In short, this is the place to relax with loved ones and or friends, socialize and make trips. Boredom is allowed, but not necessary.
