Unique gîte for cycling & nature lovers. We have transformed the old farmhouse, uninhabited for over 40 years, into a pleasant residence. We have restored the old characteristic elements from the past, such as the unique stone floor and beamed ceiling, and complemented them with a fully equipped kitchenette, a bedroom with box-spring bed and bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and a separate toilet. As icing on the cake you will find mountain bike & bicycle details fitted into the house, making it truly a unique mountain bike & bicycle accommodation. But even without a bike you will certainly have a pleasant stay here!
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in the south-east of regional nature park the Morvan. The cottage is quietly situated on our private road, overlooking the hills. The Morvan is still one of those unspoiled areas where you can fully enjoy nature and hardly encounter other cyclists or hikers. Where, if you are lucky, you can spot wild boar, deer and foxes. And where in the evening it still gets really dark and you can enjoy the often magical starry sky for hours due to the absence of light pollution. Nature Park the Morvan offers a diverse landscape. Many dense deciduous and coniferous forests, meadows and wooded banks, interspersed with moors, rocky heights, lakes, fens, and many streams and rivers.
