In this cozy cottage with its quiet location, sturdy character and its spacious, sunny, green garden you can totally unwind. With a terrace under the large canopy with a nice picnic table and space for the hammock and beanbags. The enclosed, bird-rich garden offers plenty of privacy and all day sun; there are also plenty of places with shade. Equipped with good beds, comfortable chairs, sofa, dining table and simple kitchen (with oven and washing machine) and bathroom. Spacious storage room for bicycles (bring your own). Bed linen and towels are provided and final cleaning is included. The cottage is equipped with WiFi and there is a speaker with Bluetooth connection. The cottage is located on 't very quiet, small-scale bungalow park the Zandschuyt. The car can be parked on private property; on 't park are further free parking spaces and there is a playground. The dog can also come along and he will be happy.

Within walking distance is the North Holland Dune Reserve, the most beautiful dune area in NL where it is great walking and cycling. You will find dunes, forests, heath and of course plenty of beach, sea and beach bars. The beach can be reached on foot and by bike from the cottage (3km). An idyllic, quiet beach is for example the one between Egmond aan Zee and Bergen aan Zee, accessible from the cottage by bike or on foot via the path behind the tennis club (where you are welcome as a guest to come and play) or the path from gasterij 't Woud. Haarlem and Alkmaar lend themselves to a visit to a historic city center. Places like Bergen, Egmond and Schoorl are also definitely worth a visit. You can take a boat through the canals to Alkmaar or visit the local brewery, for example. At 700 m from the house there are stores (supermarket, bakery, butcher, fish store, wine/delicatessen); various drinks and food outlets are plentiful in the neighborhood.
