The 2 gites are built in natural stone; they are next to each other, built in the 'grange', 10 meters from the Castle. Both gits have their own bathroom with toilet, shower and sink and each has a small kitchen pantry. Downstairs is a double bed, which can also be placed as 2 twin beds. In one nature house there is a 1.10 m wide bed upstairs; in the other a double bed (1.60 m wide). So one nature house has 3 - 4 sleeping places; the other 3 pp. - in total for 6-7 places. Outside: the nature houses have a common terrace. Adjacent is a covered terrace of 7 x 7m with a beautiful view over the hills, with an outdoor kitchen with a worktop/sink, fridge with a small freezer compartment, a 4-burner hob and microwave. Crockery, cutlery and pans are plentiful. There is a large dining table (8 pp), ev. an additional table with 4 chairs; there are some garden chairs.
Nature and surroundings
The region Quercy Blanc owes its name to the white limestone hills: rolling hills, intersected by valleys with small rivers that eventually flow into the river LOT. The tourist office has described beautiful hiking trails; leaflets are available. The houses in the area are built of this limestone-natural stone. The tradition of weekly markets and annual village festivals is still alive. Our little castle covers 4 hectares, part forest, part fields of wild grass, full of orchids, grasses, thistles and flowers; with deer, hares and the occasional wild boar. At night you will hear the barn owl calling.
