The design of the Habichthorst accommodation is reminiscent of the forest workers' wagons used in the Solling. There is no lack of comfort. The cozy accommodation is fully equipped with kitchenette, stove, heating, refrigerator, kitchen utensils, dishes, a bedroom with 4 beds, shower and toilet. We provide you with towels and bed linen. We also offer an evening barbecue package and breakfast as an additional booking. There is plenty of space for a cozy meal both inside the accommodation and outside at the tables in our covered seating areas. The evening can be rounded off particularly well around a crackling campfire with a swing barbecue under the breathtaking starry sky. How about sausages and bread on a stick? The Solling wagon castle with its five wagons "Fuchsbau", "Eichhörnchenkobel", "Spechthöhle", "Hasensasse" and "Habichtshorst" offers you and your family the opportunity to spend the night in a quiet, wooded location surrounded by trees.
Nature and surroundings
Listening to the concert of roaring deer directly from the campfire in the fall is a special nature experience. The Neuhaus Wildlife Park is just a stone's throw away, where young and old can observe many different species of native wild animals. The Solling Hutewald forest also invites you to take an exciting walk. With a bit of luck, you might spot the Heck cattle and exmoor ponies that live here, so pack your hiking boots. Great hiking trails await you in our diverse forests.
