This nature house is a classic Zelhem caravan from 1951(!). Warmly decorated with carvings, carved windows with decoration and cozy curves and stands near the fire pits on the Village Square of the campsite. In the caravan is sleeping space for 3. A lovely double bed with Auping mattress and above it another single bed. In the early and late season (April-May & September-October) this hut is equipped with electric blankets and a heater. Comforters and pillows are provided, bed linen and towels can be booked at an additional cost or you can bring your own. You will also find a dining area, two-seater sofa and fully equipped kitchen in the wagon. The kitchen includes a 4-burner stove, tabletop refrigerator with freezer compartment and water tank. In front of the wagon is a seating area. Under the awning you stay dry when it rains or have a sheltered spot when the sun shines. This hut does not have a shower or toilet, but you can use the sanitary facilities at the campsite free of charge.
Nature and surroundings
The ReCreation is hidden in the woods of Leusden, just below Amersfoort, on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. This former military campsite is 5 acres and a beautiful mix of forest, heathland and hills. The ReCreation is a creative nature camping and blooming place that is partly built together with our villagers. From Long Wanderers to even-timers and dabblers. It is a place where you have the opportunity to meet others and work and discover together. Or just retreat to your cabin on the heath. Nothing must, much is allowed. But above all it should be a place where you come home, meet nice people and go home full of energy. Where things arise that you couldn't imagine beforehand, a place to play, fool around and celebrate life.
