This stunning car was built completely fresh from the ground up. With lots of light and air, natural materials and a playful shape. The floor, walls and roof are completely insulated and there is a pallet stove in it, so you are always nice and warm here. Everything is super solidly made with beautiful materials that are more than 50% reused, from the frames to the oak floor. This nature house is in a lovely quiet spot on the campsite, on the heath and right next to the forest. In the caravan there is sleeping space for two. In the separate bedroom you will find a double bed, through the French doors you are on the balcony with a direct view of the forest. In the living room you will find a dining area, two-seater sofa and fully equipped kitchen. In the kitchen there is a 4 burner gas stove, tabletop fridge with freezer and water tank. There is also a pallet stove in the trailer so that you can stay warm in the early & late season. In front of the wagon is a seat with awning.
Nature and surroundings
This cottage is tucked away in the woods of Leusden, just below Amersfoort, on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. This former military campsite is 5 acres and a beautiful mix of forest, heath and hills. The KoningsWagen is located in a wonderfully quiet spot on the campsite, on the heath and right next to the forest. This campsite is a creative nature camping and blooming place that is partly built together with our villagers. From Long Wanderers to even-timers and dabblers. It is a place where you have the opportunity to meet others and work and discover together. Or just retreat to your cabin on the heath. Nothing must, much is allowed. But above all it should be a place where you come home, meet nice people and go home full of energy. Where things arise that you couldn't imagine beforehand, a place to play, fool around and celebrate life.
