Welcome to our nature house on wheels in the middle of the Maasduinen. The cottage is a vintage Camper from 1979. It stands in the yard of our historic farm. Upon arrival you immediately experience the freedom and space of this place in the green. With views of the fields and forest. The camper has a cozy sitting area and a fully equipped kitchenette. We have 1 fixed bed and the sitting area can also be converted into an extra (children's) bed (1.80m). In the garden around the camper is a fire pit with tripod and witch kettle, great to prepare your own meal on the fire. For the enthusiast there is also an outdoor pool available. In the farmhouse itself is the toilet and washing and showering facilities. As well as the possibility to park your bike(s). The camper location is close to the Pieterpad stage Gennep-Vierlingsbeek. A pick-up and return service to and from the route is possible. We only rent out the camper during the summer season, so from April 2025 we will be open again.
Nature and surroundings
The farm is one of seven former tenant farms that used to belong to Bleijenbeek castle ruins. Today we grow vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers there on a small scale. The estate is part of National Park De Maasduinen and is named after the 'blije beeck', also called 'clear stream', which flows through the estate. In nature you can walk and cycle to your heart's content to special places such as the fens of 't Quin, the watchtower on the heath of Afferden or the visitor center of NP De Maasduinen. But also in the immediate vicinity of the nature house there is plenty to discover. For example, glean wood for the fire, explore the habitat of the beaver or pick your food from nature. But above all, there really isn't much to do here. Just live outdoors.
