This nature house is built entirely of natural materials: wood, wood fiber boards as insulation, mud walls and slates on the roof. It consists of 3 segments: living room, kitchen and bathroom/bedroom. Very spacious! Due to its octagonal shape, it gives a feeling of envelopment and due to the natural materials, a feeling of tranquility. The furniture was designed and made by two wood artists. The cottage is heated by underfloor heating but the pump of the underfloor heating is not in the house itself and so there are no mechanical noises. It has a fixed internet connection because efforts were made to make the cottages as radiation-free as possible. So also for radiation-sensitive people very suitable. There may be a fee to use the sauna. Even though it is stated that the cottage is contact-free stay, we find it nice, but only if there is a need, to occasionally chat, also to see if everything is to your liking.
Nature and surroundings
The location is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the Achterhoek: located on an estate with 5 other houses where you have complete privacy and views of both forest and meadow. The tranquility is the first thing that strikes people, the birdsong is the main musical note. On the property there is a gem network and an angel circle. A few steps from the cottage begins a beautiful forest with further on a moorland. Regularly a roe deer can be seen or an owl heard. It is within cycling and walking distance of the cozy village of Vorden, with numerous stores and restaurants. The Pieterpad is 200 meters away as well as the 8 castles route. Just staying in this heavenly place will give you a feeling of peace. If during your stay you need a listening ear for what you are struggling with in life, you are welcome to ask me, Elisabeth, for a walking session, with a constellation in which you can feel and experience what is bothering you.
