Our forest cottage is located on a small nature park. You walk through the forest to the Gorsselse Heide. We have tastefully renovated the cottage and equipped with all comforts. The living room has high windows making it nice and light in the house. The spacious open kitchen has a refrigerator with freezer, combi-oven, dishwasher and plenty of cooking utensils and spices. In the large garden (about 1200 m2) you can enjoy singing birds and squirrels. You will find a picnic bench, garden furniture and parasol. For children there are a swing, sandbox and willow hut. In bedroom 1 there is a double Auping bed (160b) with adjustable spiral base and pocket spring mattress, bedroom 2 has two single beds. The bathroom has a sink, walk-in shower and washing machine. There is also a separate toilet. The cottage is heated by CV. WiFi is available throughout the house. Good to know is that a weekend booking always has a late checkout (17:00).
Nature and surroundings
Around Harfsen you can enjoy walking and cycling. For example on our tandem (with front and rear seat), which you can use for free. Your own bikes can be stored dry under the roof. The Achterhoek scenery is very varied with woods, heaths and dirt roads, beautiful views and hedgerows. For young and old there is plenty to do in the area. Beautiful nature can be found for example at the Holterberg, the Veluwe or the IJsselvallei. You can sniff out history at the numerous castles and estates. For culture and fun you go to Deventer, Lochem, Zutphen or Gorssel or visit one of the outdoor theaters in the area. The park has a reception desk. The manager will welcome you and is regularly present. At the reception you will also find more information about the area and you can rent (electric) bikes. In our guestbook you can read about trips made by others. Not out and about? In the cottage are games and magazines. Have fun!
