This Nature House has changed shape and is now back as a mini-safari tent in the heart of the campground. A wonderful place to retreat together or alone. You are in the middle of the forest and literally on the moor, yet close to the Village Square and the fire pit. The Heideway is in a spacious spot in nature and can accommodate up to 2 people. This Cabin is also very nice to stay in alone. PS. We are still busy building and decorating, the pictures are intended as examples and impressions. Actual pictures will follow as soon as we are finished! The last two pictures show the place with our old Heideway Lotus tent. The tent has a double bed, kitchenette, refrigerator, chairs and table. You can also place these outside on the porch. There is also a 2 burner stove, water tank, electricity and complete kitchen inventory. The Heideway also has a porch so you can sit in the shade or out of the rain and watch the stars at night.
Nature and surroundings
The ReCreation is hidden in the woods of Leusden, just below Amersfoort, on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. This former military campsite is 5 acres and a beautiful mix of forest, heathland and hills. The ReCreation is a creative nature camping and blooming place that is partly built together with our villagers. From Long Wanderers to even-timers and dabblers. It is a place where you have the opportunity to meet others and work and discover together. Or just retreat to your cabin on the heath. Nothing must, much is allowed. But above all it should be a place where you come home, meet nice people and go home full of energy. Where things arise that you couldn't imagine beforehand, a place to play, fool around and celebrate life.
