Hutje 2 has the appearance of a Luxury Trekkershut and is located in the yard of our 1890s farmhouse in a beautiful rural location on the river De Vecht, 3km from the center and public transport of Weesp, a town with a village character. Hutje 2 consists of 1 room, suitable for 2à3 pers with a kitchenette, private bathroom and 2 pers bed or 2x 1 pers (bed and bath linen can be booked in addition). Cabin 2 is the middle of 3 cabins that we have realized in the former chicken barn. These Luxury Cottages are located on the country side of our yard overlooking the many greenery, hobby animals and orchard with fruit trees and a long picnic table, both for private use and guests. Even with the monumental remnants of the old Rubatex it is rural and quiet to stay in the cozy Huts and on the terraces that are cozily decorated to enjoy in the afternoon and evening sun after a day of hiking, biking or a day trip. In the vicinity of our farmhouse Hoeve Vrede Best there is plenty to do in terms of natural and urban experiences. Just a stone's throw from Amsterdam and other beautiful places, Hutje 2 is a great base to get out into nature for beautiful biking and hiking trails or continue the cycling or hiking trails that pass through Weesp. Bike rental is possible, as is renting a sup or a boat for an experience on the river De Vecht towards Muiden or Breukelen. And a refreshing dip in De Vecht is also definitely a possibility. The cozy town of Weesp has plenty of nice stores and restaurants for breakfast/lunch/dinner. A visit to the ice cream parlor is a must. But also for home eaters, the Weesper entrepreneurs offer plenty of choice in beautiful artisanal products. Our very enthusiastic and incredibly sweet dog Flynn will welcome you, as will I, to Hoeve Vrede Best. She walks around freely and will come to greet you several times.
