Once you are through the entrance gate you find yourself in a large lush garden with beautiful tall trees, colorful rhododendron bushes, a large pond and feel the peace descend upon you. The cottage is tucked away in the back part of the property and has a spacious enclosed private garden of about 1000m2. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner ceramic hob, an oven and dishwasher. The 2 bedrooms each have a comfortable double bed and the bathroom is luxuriously finished including a rain shower. As soon as the sun starts to shine, open the garden doors and you can choose from various spots in the garden to relax. Various garden furniture is available, but if you really want to relax with a good book and a glass of wine, then crawl into the hammock or the hammock chair.

The house is located in Heerde, on the edge of the vast forest and moorland the Dellen, in the middle of the beautiful nature reserves the Veluwe and the IJssel Valley. From the house you can walk or cycle straight into the woods. Several hiking trails such as "the Nature Trail" and "the Klompenpad" run right past the house and the "regional products route" is a fun way to get acquainted with local products by bike. In fine weather you can also admire nature from a canoe. On the Veluwe you can regularly spot red deer, foxes, wild boars and birds of prey. The "Geldersch Landschap en Kasteelen" regularly organizes game observation walks and special activities for children. A 5-minute bike ride away is the recreational lake Heerderstrand. In the nearby villages you will find many traditional farms, local museums or stores selling local products. Also the traditional Hanseatic cities or Apeldoorn (Paleis 't Loo, Museum de Fundatie etc) can be reached in less than half an hour.
