Unique overnight stay on a beautiful houseboat on the Frisian Wetter. Waking up to birdsong and rippling water. Your own piece of Friesland, off-grid and thanks to solar panels, batteries, power generator and smart technology still equipped with all modern comforts such as a warm stove, open kitchen with cozy dining area, coffee maker, refrigerator, 2 burner stove, oven, bathroom, hot shower and toilet. Houseboat Wetter offers a spacious bedroom with 2 comfortable beds, an additional sofa bed for a third person and plenty of closet space. In the cozy living room there is a comfortable (sleeping) couch with a view of forest, water and boats. In the open kitchen you prepare your own meals or you sail with the sloop (€149 per day) in half an hour to the center of Heerenveen to enjoy a bite to eat. Nature and surroundings
The cozy houseboat is completely free in the Frisian Wetter in a private harbor, 5 km from the center of Heerenveen with cozy restaurants and beautiful museums. For a nice walk you can walk straight into the woods or the beautiful recreation area de Heide with swimming beach. Enjoy a cold drink or a cup of coffee on your own terrace on the water. In the sunny garden (1.150m2) with fireplace, BBQ, sheltered seating area you can read, fish and laze while listening to the singing of the birds. Kingfishers, bank swallows with Friesian horses as your neighbors. Sauna & Jacuzzi & Yoga can be booked separately (€89 / Daypart) at LEEFSTIJLSCHUUR (250 m away from Wetter) supboards and kickbikes (scooters) to explore the beautiful surroundings. Our beautiful sloop can be rented with or without skipper from €150 per day. Skating rink Thialf, the Royal Oranjewoud with the observation tower and the beautiful Overtuin with hundreds of years old trees. Joure, Sloten and Lemmer within cycling distance. Wolkom yn Fryslan!
