Nature and surroundings
Foss Lodge is in the middle of the Veluwe in the woods on a small-scale vacation park in Nunspeet. This gives you the convenience of the facilities, but not the crowds. The house is private with a nice private garden, but it is not completely alone in the middle of the forest. So you just have neighbors next door and across from you. Not to worry, there's plenty of private space, greenery, forest smells and bird sounds to make your home-in-the-forest experience complete! Needless to say: you come to the Veluwe for its unparalleled natural beauty. Explore the enchanting forests, moors and fens of the Veluwe, where you can come face to face with wild deer, boars and foxes. A 10-minute walk from the house is the photogenic Zandenplas, a popular swimming lake with a sandy beach and play facilities. You can go on countless hikes, mountain biking and cycling in the area. Fancy a city? Zwolle, Harderwijk, Apeldoorn you are there within half an hour. And what about the cute fortified town of Elburg?
