This beautiful group accommodation away from the crowds will bring your large family or group of nature lovers in a lovely green and quiet environment near the beautiful fortress of Bourtange. The group room is located in the old inn. The inn dates from 1687!!! The group room is suitable for multiple purposes: dining, lounging, games, yoga, dancing etc In the farmhouse are 8 bedrooms each with 2 single beds. There are 6 extra outside rooms, each with 2 single beds and their own sanitary facilities, which can be booked separately, up to 28 people. Arrival: Friday from 16:00 Departure: Sunday before 16:00 or Friday before 10:00 Extra outside rooms can be booked up to 28 people Spacious rooms with private bathroom, also suitable for the disabled. Towels and clean linen provided.
Nature and surroundings
The fortress Bourtange is nationally but also internationally known. Many tourists annually visit this old fortress with earthen walls, embrasures and the battle that is reenacted every year. But do you also know the nature reserve east of the fortress? It is a beautiful bird sanctuary with rare plants, butterflies and even the adder has been spotted here again! Also nearby is Smeerling, a beautiful nature reserve where the Scottish Highlanders roam freely.
